Some great bands. I was lead in a local rock band in the early 70s. Wild times. My favourite is undoubtedly Led Zep, though.

Ah, the days when MTV actually played music videos on a regular basis. I'm not even sure what the "M" in MTV stands for these days because it sure as hell isn't music. I saw Def Leppard perform in concert (along w/ Journey) a couple of summers ago. They put on a really good show.

By the way, I had never heard of Daily Motion until now. From what I've seen, it looks like the video/audio quality is better than what you would find on You Tube. Thank you!

I was more into rap in those days; Run-DMC, Dougie Fresh, heavy D, but I did love me those Guns N' Roses songs! Ozzy, too and of course, Aerosmith...gotta love those boys if you're from near Boston!

OK, is it a bad thing that I didn't need to watch the clips? As soon as I read the song name it immediately started playing in my head!

Great TT!

I LOVE Guns n Roses's November Rain...well, most of their songs. And Aerosmith? Got all their cds and a few cassette tapes from way back when...I just can't get rid of Steve!!

[I just read on Yahoo News that Mr. Tyler is back in rehab. ::sigh:: I was hoping he'd remain sober!]

Whoa, dude...! Flashback time!

I'm getting asphyxiated by all the hairspray fumes! LOL!

Fun list - It's hard to believe it was all in the same year, isn't it?

I was just about to graduate HS, myself... Seems like forever ago.

Fun list, though.
Happy TT!

Ciao!

I am glad you were limiting yourself to one year. Because that would be very specific music taste.

Those hair bands were the best! I went to the Def Leppard concert in '88 (I think it was that year or maybe '89) Good times!

Thanks for visiting my T-13 at Small Reflections. This is a lovely idea for a T-13 but it loads so slow on my overloaded laptop this afternoon I can’t see anything but the first two songs … and they won’t play. Maybe in the morning I’d have better luck? Leaving a comment took a while too. I need a new computer!!!
Hugs and blessings,

I appreciate the time you took to post these. Not being a fan of this kind of music, I don't recognize them, but I'm sure some people will.

shaunesay said...

That was a very good year... *happy sigh* I know and love all of those songs!

Thanks for the visit!

Irishcoda said...

I especially enjoyed your TT because of the clips. My music interest years basically run from 1968-1983 and so I'm not familiar with these bands and never particularly felt like tuning in. But it was easy to do with the clips you provided and I did enjoy the songs! Thanks!

wow these sure bring back some memories... thanks for posting this... great idea for the Thursday thirteen
